Graphic Design
Nikki Heiniger
Hi, my name is Nicole Heiniger! I am 20 years old and currently a junior at Grand Valley State University. I am from a small town in Northwest Indiana called Munster, which is about 25 miles south of Chicago. I am a Graphic Design major and an Advertising/Public Relations minor. Since a young age I have been very interested in art and so I decided to pursue a career that I could be passionate about. With my degree I hope to work with a creative team at a corporation to develop design material.
One of my favorite things to do is exercise. I am a member of Grand Valley State’s women’s tennis team. I spend a lot of time practicing, training, and playing but I get to also spend a lot of time with my teammates who are some of my closest friends. I also love running and I am very passionate about living an active lifestyle.
I am the Graphic Designer at Fresh Creative Co. I use design principles and creative approaches to try to make graphic materials that will highlight our company's mission and also be a useful resources for our customers.

Cole Edwards
Hey, my name is Cole Edwards, I’m 22 years old and finishing up my last semester at Grand Valley. I’m a Communications and Ad / PR student with a lot of student loans. I plan to use what I’ve learned in college to start my own business and grow it into something great. I’ve lived on the eastside of Michigan my whole life so I want to branch out when I am done with college and see where the wind takes me.
I currently work as my fraternity’s special events chairman which is a good time but is a lot of work. Most of my social life is within the fraternity whether it is through camping trips, intramurals, or kicking back. I try to stay as fit as possible so I have a personal attachment to fresh food. I also spend free time teaching myself piano and chilling with my kitty, Van Gogh.
For Fresh Creative Co., I am our video and audio specialist. I focus on putting out the video content for our clients as well as our own firm. This helps create the branding and identity that our clients need in order to reach their markets and get their organic products into the hands of their customers.

Hi, my name is Amanda Hume! I am 21 years old and currently a junior at Grand Valley State University. I’m majoring in communications with a minor in advertising and public relations. I’m interested in public relations and hope to be involved in that field post-college. I’m from Rockford, Michigan. It is a small but prosperous town just north of Grand Rapids.
Something that is very close to my heart and essential as a college student: coffee. Anytime I can get my hands on some, I do! I’ve been to just about every coffee shop in Grand Rapids and some surrounding the city as well. It’s also a fun way to catch up with friends, which is also something very important to me. I also enjoy traveling, camping, visiting my friends at other colleges and going out to ice cream or breakfast.
I am the photographer at Fresh Creative Co. I take all the pictures that we use for the website and social media. I have fun connecting with the farmers and their food in such a fun way!

Hi, My name is Zachary Berkemeier (Zack for short). I am a 20 year old web designer currently attending Grand Valley State University. I am currently majoring in Advertising and Public relations, and I am eager to put my knowledge to the test.
I am from a small town in Michigan called Jackson. A few of my hobbies are playing and listening to music. This greatly influences how I spend my time with concerts big or small! This helps me feel valued in my support of similar artists.

Katelyn Cripps
Greetings! My name is Katelyn Cripps. I am originally from Hale’iwa, Hawai’i but moved to the prettiest mid-western state, Michigan, a little over six years ago. I am currently a senior at Grand Valley State University. I am a double major: Advertising and Public Relations; Writing with two minors in French and Studio Art. As a young girl, I excelled in mathematics and science but my passions lie in the creative realm. I decided to forgo my Pre-Med major sophomore year, and switch into a career path that still allows me to help others while designing creative things for the community.
One of my favorite things to do in between studying and classes, is traveling. I have been to over 12 different countries, and over 155 cities. I love learning new languages, and embracing different cultures from around the world.
I am the Social Media Manager at Fresh Creative Co. Along with the team, I make sure that our company is implementing innovative strategies to market ourselves to clients in the community. We use a wide range of social media platforms that allow us to communicate, and build relationships with people like you.
